I’ve always enjoyed the outdoors! As a young girl, I was a bit of a tomboy and could hold my own with any of the boys in my neighborhood! I used to enjoy things like “paintball”, riding 4 wheelers, sailing in the summer and fishing!

When I think back to high school, I can remember the times where me and some friends would hop on our 4 wheelers and have paintball fights in the woods behind our house! We never had the paintball parks, like they have in many places today! We always had such a blast! It made for the best weekends, even if it was a bit nasty out (rain or just really cloudy)! I mean, the rain wasn’t going to get us any dirtier than the paint, right? It was like the stings from the paintballs hitting and bruising my skin made me feel like I was one awesome chick! It is such a rush, even without riding around on 4 wheelers while doing it! It was one of the best outdoor sports / activities I ever did! It’s not a sport for just for “guys”, I know many girls / women who enjoy it just as much as the guys do!
