I cured my sweet tooth. Yes I did! I bought myself some cookie dough and have been eating bits at the time, raw. I feel a bit guilty about it but it’s not enough to make me stop. Tehe!
We hit another wall with Jo’s check. His bank wants to place a very unreasonable 30 business day hold on it. A check from Merrill Lynch from a Wal-mart profit sharing/stock option account. Two big name companies, not just nationally (to the US) but internationally. It’s funny that anyone would expect a check from Wal-mart wouldn’t be paid, but what can we do? Nothing. If we can’t get it cashed at Money Mart (They said they should be able to if they can verify the funds tomorrow, couldn’t do this today because it was a holiday in the states), then I don’t know where else we could go and get it cashed. I really loath TD Canada for this. I told Jo that I no longer wanted to be added to his accounts there. I will never do business with them, personally, ever. If he wants to continue using them, fine but I won’t. He has direct deposit.. quite a bit each month and we put a lot of money into that account all through the month, so I feel their decision was a bit out there. Oh well.. we’ll see how things work out tomorrow I suppose!
Back to my cookie dough!

THIRTY day hold? Good lord. Who does that?! I’d be out for blood.
