I am so annoyed! My dad sent out Jo’s 401k check last Thursday, around lunch time EST. It was sent 3-5 express mail (international). I am not stupid, I know all too well about the “customs” process but why on Earth would they need “weeks” to process a small envelope that contains nothing but a check???

I could understand this entire process a lot better if this was a “parcel”. I just feel a couple of weeks is a ridiculous wait for something so small.

I was really hoping that Jynx was not going to start her “throwing up” thing again. She’s done so well the past few months. This weather is absolutely crazy! Yesterday it was cold, rainy and hailing. Today it’s cold, raining and snowing! Snowing? I believe Jo now when he says I may be surprised to see snow in June. Heck, it’s almost June already! This is really nasty weather for a “holiday”!

In other news, my back is pestering me again! I can’t seem to get comfortable in this chair and I refuse to move out of my seat until I finish my photography site up! I have 3 galleries to go and then I’ll start redoing the thumbnails, updating links and contact information and I will be set! I am so excited!

Have any of you seen this movie; Notes on a scandal? I rented it on Pay Per View yesterday! It was so worth the $5.99 it cost me to watch it! I have never really been a big fan of Cate Blanchett, though I really have no reason for that, I really loved her in this movie! The movie was controversial when it came out because of the age of the co-star, who was 16 years old I believe. He was of the legal age of consent in his home country but many people shunned the movie, still. It was twisted at times (well, obviously).

I would definitely recommend it to all of you, if the controversy of the film doesn’t rub you the wrong way.

I have been so worried for the last little bit! I was supposed to meet Jo at Safeway because we needed to do a little grocery shopping! I got there around 6:35pm and he usually meets me there at 6:40pm, when we do this. I sat there until about 7:35pm, he was a no show! So I drove home, thinking he’d forgotten! Get there, he’s not outside and I know he isn’t inside because I have the keys to get into the building and our place! I head up the 4 flights of stairs and TRIP! I tripped, right there on the last step on our floor! Banged myself up a bit. Bruises and scrapes. Great. So I come inside to see there’s no missed calls and no voice mails. At this point I can’t figure out if I am pissed off or worried. I guess it was both!

Anyway. He finally called after 8pm and said the bus was late getting to the train station. I head back up to meet up with him and the second I walked out of the front door, hell was unleashed down on me. Or maybe that should be “hail” because that is exactly what fell. Ergh. It’s absolutely yucky outside!
