No surprise there

I guess it really isn’t much of a surprise, but President Bush has, yet again, vetoed the stem cell research bill. If you put religious reasons aside, why wouldn’t you pass it? (Seriously, I would like input here) I am not a very religious person. I was raised as a southern baptist but at this point in my life, it’s not something I practice. Maybe that’s why I have a hard time understanding why you wouldn’t pass this bill. Think of the lives you could potentially save down the road? Think of all the various diseases that could be treated (possibly cured)! :/

  • Aside from religious reasons, there is no reason not to pass that sort of bill, IMO.

  • Yet again, indeed. George Bush is a stumbling, bumbling idiot. We’ll be lucky if we can regain the respect we once had once he’s out of office. As you said, no reason NOT to pass that bill. He’s so stupid.
