The PAYjr Visa Buxx card launched on July 11th and I think this is a great idea for teens! Learning to manage money is important! PAYjr Visa Buxx is a prepaid card, which allows parents to control how much is available to their teen and for spending. Funds are FDIC insured! Parents and teens are kept aware of their cards activity with SMS text messaging or email notifications! It isn’t a credit card, so you don’t have to worry about your teen getting into debt, you control the amount available to them! It carries the Visa logo, so it’s accepted everywhere that Visa is accepted!

This would be a great way to teach your teen how to budget their money! I wish this had been around when I was a teenager, it would’ve certainly saved me a few financial goofs when I was younger!
