I agree, you’d think people would grow up and brush things like this off… But sadly I see this kind of immaturity often. I think the contest was fun and original, and the winner had a cute submission! If you didn’t win - whoopie, you didn’t lose anything… sore losers = 2 thumbs down

I agree with you totally, Reese! I’m on a pregnancy message board (still) from when I was pregnant with Gabby. Everyone due in November (or whatever month) was in the same “birth club.” Well, since the babies have been born we do contests for all kinds of things such as: cutest smile, best expression, etc…. There isn’t even a prize, it’s totally just to have fun and show off our kids, but some of the mom’s get so pissy about their child not winning and make statements about not entering anymore because their child doesn’t win. It’s quite ridiculous.

Oh Debbie.. I’m not upset, not at all. I just think it’s pathetic that someone would get upset about not winning $25 from participating in something fun… to the extent of having their friends comment about the winner. It’s just pathetic and immature.
