Unique gifts

I always have a hard time finding unique gifts for a few of my friends, which is a current problem I am having. I have two wonderful friends who both have birthdays next month. I have been racking my brain trying to come up with gift ideas for them both. I want to buy gifts that are hard to find, things that are not on the high street.

For one friend (who will remain nameless in this post), I would love to do a gift basket up, with an assortment of environmentally conscious and friendly personalised gifts inside (candles and a variety of bath products like shower gel and soaps). I know this is something she will not only appreciate, but will also love. I love doing assortment baskets (and bags) because it gives me the chance to fit several gifts into one.

The other friend recently lost her father. She is also a photographer, like myself, so I would love to find a uniquely beautiful picture frame that she could place one of the photos she has taken of her father in.

The holidays are also just around the corner, so I know I will be looking for unique gifts for not only my friends but also relatives. We are currently over 3100 miles away from home (both my parents in Georgia and my husband’s in Newfoundland), so finding the perfect, personalised gifts is going to be very important for us this year.
