I have just found out about ShoppingAddicted.com, which is a fairly new blog that provides reviews on all kinds of shopping websites, products and their features and of course the price. Some of the products you can read about include; the Apple iPod touch (I love the commercial for this one) and the Olympus FE-300 digital camera, which features 12 mega pixels and a delicious looking price tag (this would make a perfect gift for Jo / my husband). You can also find reviews on other non-electronic / tech items like fragrances and where you can buy them.

Is it just me or are some of the images on this theme not showing up right now? I logged into my photobucket account, where I have them uploaded and they’re all there. I can see them perfectly but for some reason they’re not showing up for me. The images in the sidebar work fine but the header and background images are not displaying. I don’t know why they would show up in my photobucket gallery but not show up on my website. They were working fine earlier today. Can you see them, or is this problem just a “me” problem?

Actually, now that I’m trying to browse other websites, the internet in general is being a pest (aka, lagging and running a bit on the sluggish side).

I’m a firm believer in thinking that women can never have enough handbags. I think this is due to my own personal obsession in them and love for them. I only wish I could find the ones I love for more affordable prices. My husband has recently made me vow that I will only buy handbags that are on sale, or if I have a coupons. I don’t know if you feel the same way I do but I love getting new readers and finding cool, new blogs to read. I’ve made the decision that starting in December I will feature a blog a week. I’ll probably have a small submission form in case anyone would like to suggest some of your own favorites.

You’ll also want to make sure that you keep checking back in the next 24-48 hours. Why? Because not only will I be releasing a new Wordpress theme, I’m also going to release a new contest. The contest is going to be a little different in that it will benefit me, you and other bloggers. I’m not going to go into detail about it until I do the real post about it but I’m hoping it will be a lot of fun.

Do you have any favorite relatives? My uncle Wayne (dad’s brother) is my favorite uncle. We’ve always been fairly close even though he lives in Texas. In my baby book, my mom filled in little comments people said about me and two of his were “She looks like a little rat” (may explain why I love cheese so much now) and “Well, I see she doesn’t have red hair” (I had blonde hair when I was younger, Wayne has red). Usually my uncle and his wife Denise come to Georgia for Thanksgiving. This year they went to Michigan (where Denise’s family is from) where they were supposed to stay in a lovely little Michigan bed and breakfast. Considering the drama that can happen on Thanksgiving (at least in our family), that was probably the better choice!

I think they’re actually planning to visit sometime during the Christmas holidays or possibly early in the year next year. Either way it’s disappointing for me because I won’t be there to see them. I’m hoping he’ll plan another visit for late Spring, which is when Jo and I are planning to go visit my family back home.

I admit it, I love dancing with the stars. Unfortunately this season is leaving a horrible taste in my mouth. I hate all of the attention that’s being given to Marie Osmond, or should I say favoritism? I just don’t understand how she’s made it this far in the competition and am wondering if the whole thing just isn’t rigged this time around. I have nothing against the woman and I do agree that for her age, it’s amazing that she’s doing some of those lifts but I can’t take her seriously. I’m no ballroom dancing expert but she’s really making a mess of it all. She simply is not good. Case in point - view the videos below (the second is her awkward freestyle).

My personal favorites are Julianne and Helio. I think it’s because I have a wee little crush on Helio - shhh!

Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? I’ve barely gotten started on mine. One of the biggest problems I’ve been faced with is that I haven’t been able to do much comparison shopping. We’re pretty limited here, so most of our shopping is (and will be) being done online. I just learned about new website that allows consumers to compare prices on all sorts of things - Save Buckets. There’s nothing that ticks me off more when shopping than to buy an item, only to wind up seeing it being sold somewhere else for much less. Save Buckets will definitely help to put a stop to that.

This Christmas Jo has put in a request for a new cell phone which not only has a camera but also features an MP3 player. We’ve been unable to compare prices on these types of phones until now because none of the carriers in our area have started selling them yet. I gave Save Buckets keyword search feature a spin and was able to compare not only the prices, but the phones too. You can also compare prices of items by using the category search tool too.
