I can’t wait to get my zoom lens in my hands. I saw this bird on a branch above my head the other day and though he/she wasn’t very high, it would’ve been a better photo had I had a lens that could zoom in on the little thing a bit better. I’m honestly surprised (and thankful) that he/she sat there long enough for me to take it.
I hope to have that lens soon though, so no worries.

The other day my husband and I were out, and I spotted a blue bird in the branches of a tree that was perhaps thirty or forty feet away. By the time I could get my telephoto lens on, he had flown off.

I’d be surprised too that it sat there! It’s still a good picture, even though it isn’t zoomed in!
