What do you think?

Just before we moved to Calgary last March, I found the most gorgeous comforter set at Wal-mart. I had every intention of getting it until Jo said it was too “country” for him. A part of me wanted to go ahead and buy it anyway but I didn’t want to cause an argument considering we were going to be hitting the road a couple of days later. Once we got to Calgary he said if I could find something like it, I could go ahead and buy it then. Sadly I never found anything like it at all, not that I actually expected too. On a few occasions my mom said she’d pick it up for me and ship to Calgary. I kept saying no, which was mostly because I knew we weren’t going to be in Calgary forever and I didn’t want to risk getting somewhere else and finding something better. I guess that wouldn’t have been so bad though, I’m notorious for changing things around in my home.

Well when I spoke to my mom the other day, I gave her the go ahead. She headed straight to Wal-mart and picked up the set shown in the picture to your left. Isn’t it gorgeous? I can’t wait to see what it looks like on my king sized sleigh bed (by Lane, from the urban country living collection), which my dad has been keeping for us! I think it’ll look gorgeous on that natural pine frame.

What do you think? There’s also another comforter set similar but in pink and green - sort of shabby chic looking. I may get it too, for the spare room.

Thankfully my parents decided to keep the majority of our furniture, which I believe is because they also knew we’d eventually be back in Georgia. I’m still a little annoyed that my dad got rid of our living room set but at the same time, that means I can get something completely different and new.
