These are a few examples of the fabrics I’d like to use for my handbags. What do you think?
I’m really fond of the first two, but I’m a little unsure about the third one. I love the pattern and colors, but it’s Spring and Summer will be here soon. I think the third one would be better in the fall, don’t you think? I’m also thinking about combining the floral prints with either solids or stripes. Gingham would probably work for some of them too, but only in moderation so that they don’t wind up too “country” or anything. The second patten would probably look nice with black and white gingham, then again it would probably look nice with solid pink, green or aqua. If I could just get it narrowed down already!

I like the first and third patterns. Gingham is a cute touch but I agree, don’t go overboard or it will look too country. Howdy, y’all! haha

I really like the first one. then you could use a bold pinkish colour as contrast on the top of the bag.

I love all three of the patterns. The first one is my absolute favorite though. I can’t wait to see how your handbags turn out. If they are anything like your layouts then I know they will be cute.

Hi there! I just stumbled across your journal - you find the greatest stuff on LiveJournal, and I had to comment on this fabric. I love the third one, myself - I’d love to have a bag with that, and I would totally use it for summer. I can see those colors on a bathing suit, believe it or not.
I’d be curious how gingham would look paired with them, it might be a lot of fun. You make your own? That’s awesome!
If you’re going for a summer look for the second one, I’d say that the pink or aqua solid would look cute too.
