Sorry to hear yours has a bee in its bonnet and is less than kind to you. We just had to fork over major cash for a new air conditioning system (indoor until & outdoor compressor) so I know all about the crappiness of unexpected expenditures. I drive a 2006 Ford Escape Hybrid. Love it. No issues at all (one recall that affected some hybrid & gas-only Escapes, but otherwise nada).
