Looking for a camera?

I only have a minute, but I wanted to put this out there..

I’m selling my Olympus E500, Zuiko 35mm macro lens, Zuiko 14-45mm lens, 1 GB memory card, camera bag, battery, battery charger, manual - all of the software that was included with the purchase. I still have the box too. It’s like one big gift basket, ha!

Why? Because I’m being allowed to upgrade, but the only way I am being allowed to do so is if I sell my current gear - the lenses will not work on a Canon, so I can’t use them. Selling it all just makes sense. This gear is just under 6 months old and I’m the ONLY owner of it all.

  • Congrats on getting the new camera! I need to buy a few lenses for mine, I only have the standard lens and its not great for what I use my camera for. Which camera are you buying?

  • I already have a nice camera (Nikon), but I wanted to say good luck with selling yours! You have taken some incredible photos with it, so that’s proof enough that the camera IS really good. :)

  • if it’s at all possible that they fit on Nikon cameras, I would be very, very interested in the lenses.

  • For those that asked, I’m getting the Canon 40d, though I still like the idea of the Nikon d300 (so pricey though). :)

    Sarah; I have a few people interested in all items but in the event none follow through with a purchase, I’ll let you know. I’m almost positive the Zuiko lenses work on Nikon’s - I’ll find out for sure though!

    Danielle; Which wallpapers? I create a lot of them myself. The woman in the chair was downloaded from Istockphoto.com. The artist = Chihhang. :)

  • Hey I just changed my lj theme to one that you created. I would like to change that background color of indigo blue(?) to a pic of space that I have. However I have no idea on how to do that.

  • Ah the joys of new toys!! I love my camera, though I need to upgrade one of these days. I have some other things ahead of that on my current list of wants though (one being a laptop). Which Canon are you getting? I’ve been eyeing up the Rebel XSi…though the XTi is cheaper…I’m not sure I could ever fit a thousand bucks into my budget lol. My current S3 is quite nice for a point and shoot though…it’s getting me use to the manual settings and things. Good luck with your new camera!!

  • Canon! Nikon! Both are awesome. Maybe I’m biased from having my own Nikon, but I say save up and get the Nikon d300, if you can. ;)
