Looking for a camera?

I only have a minute, but I wanted to put this out there..

I’m selling my Olympus E500, Zuiko 35mm macro lens, Zuiko 14-45mm lens, 1 GB memory card, camera bag, battery, battery charger, manual - all of the software that was included with the purchase. I still have the box too. It’s like one big gift basket, ha!

Why? Because I’m being allowed to upgrade, but the only way I am being allowed to do so is if I sell my current gear - the lenses will not work on a Canon, so I can’t use them. Selling it all just makes sense. This gear is just under 6 months old and I’m the ONLY owner of it all.

If you think you might be interested, send an email to me at helloreese @ gmail.com. Minus the spaces, of course.

Congrats on getting the new camera! I need to buy a few lenses for mine, I only have the standard lens and its not great for what I use my camera for. Which camera are you buying?

I already have a nice camera (Nikon), but I wanted to say good luck with selling yours! You have taken some incredible photos with it, so that’s proof enough that the camera IS really good. :)

What kind of camera will you be upgrading to?

if it’s at all possible that they fit on Nikon cameras, I would be very, very interested in the lenses.

Congrats on the camera! Did you decided what kind yet? Where do you get all your cute wallpapers and that girl reading the book is soo cute!?

For those that asked, I’m getting the Canon 40d, though I still like the idea of the Nikon d300 (so pricey though). :)

Sarah; I have a few people interested in all items but in the event none follow through with a purchase, I’ll let you know. I’m almost positive the Zuiko lenses work on Nikon’s - I’ll find out for sure though!

Danielle; Which wallpapers? I create a lot of them myself. The woman in the chair was downloaded from Istockphoto.com. The artist = Chihhang. :)

Good luck selling your new camera! And congrats on the upgrade to a Canon 40d… that will be my next upgrade I think. :)

O, I will have to tell my mom about that. She has been looking for a new camera, I’m just not sure if this is one of the ones she was talking about. :/
Lovely layout and site, I will definitely be back. ;)

Hey I just changed my lj theme to one that you created. I would like to change that background color of indigo blue(?) to a pic of space that I have. However I have no idea on how to do that.

Would you mine telling me how I could edit that? I would really appreciate it!

Ah the joys of new toys!! I love my camera, though I need to upgrade one of these days. I have some other things ahead of that on my current list of wants though (one being a laptop). Which Canon are you getting? I’ve been eyeing up the Rebel XSi…though the XTi is cheaper…I’m not sure I could ever fit a thousand bucks into my budget lol. My current S3 is quite nice for a point and shoot though…it’s getting me use to the manual settings and things. Good luck with your new camera!!

Lucky! Congrats on the new camera. I’m looking at one of the Nikons, but I read that the Canons were pretty nice.

Thanks Reese. Please keep me updated! If they don’t work on Nikons, my cousin has an Olympus and may be interested depending on the price :)

Canon! Nikon! Both are awesome. Maybe I’m biased from having my own Nikon, but I say save up and get the Nikon d300, if you can. ;)
