I found out that Trent, my youngest nephew, may not be able to start Pre K this year. The classes are at full capacity and he’s still in 7th position on the waiting list. Classes start in the morning, so it’s not looking good. He was looking forward to it, surprisingly enough, so he’s pretty bummed out. I think it’s pretty hopeless at this point. There’s probably better luck finding a perfect acne cure before he’ll make it in before the AM.
Anyway. I sat down to watch some TV earlier but was disappointed to find nothing on. Including the Olympics, as I mentioned previously. I guess Trent’s not the only one that’s bummed out tonight! We resorted to watching a movie, which lead to me forgetting that I still had my messengers running. Oops. Sorry Stacey!

Awww… poor Trent! I know some kids get to the point where they WANT to start school already! I’m so sowwie… I think I was one of those that didn’t make it either. I had to wait till the following school year… LOL

Pre-K classes start here tomorrow morning as does Sydney’s kindergarten. I had no clue we did a Pre-K here or I’d have signed her up last year. It sounds really neat and the kids will have a leg up already knowing the school, but I supposed preschool is just as good.
And I feel his pain on the wanting to go. Sydney had her heart set on the bus and they informed us we aren’t a bus house and she cried her eyes out. She told me to make the stop and get her. I’m afraid all we can do is give them evil looks on our way in our car!

Aww, poor guy. I didn’t get to start K when I wanted to. My b-day is right after the cutoff point. :/ Maybe his mom should think about getting him some stuff to teach him some at home?
