Other than that, though it’s becoming normal, I am so stressed here. I don’t feel like going into details but if you’ve been keeping up with my blog for a bit, you should know what’s stressing me. I hate feeling like I’m walking on egg shells and that’s exactly what it’s like around here. I don’t know how my mother in law has managed doing it for so long, I know she must be absolutely exhausted from it all. I can tell you one thing, there are definitely things about this place that I won’t miss when I’m gone.

In other news; my youngest sister, Nikki, was the only person to get me with that whole April Fool’s thing. Other people tried and failed, she, however, succeeded by telling me her husband was going in for back surgery (I absolutely hate such serious joking though). He actually has been having back trouble, which is the only reason why I fell for it. Trent thought it was funny that his “mommy” got me and felt the need to tell me when I spoke to him last night. He also told me that Rachel Ray was his girlfriend - LOL.

That’s all for now. I’m going to go spend some time with the hubby before American Idol. I so want David Cook or Michael Johns to win and hope Kristy Lee Cook will be going home. She did much better last night but I still think she’s not nearly as good as the other contestants (especially David C. and Michael Johns).

Kelley called it. I’m addicted to Guitar Hero now. It took all of about 10 minutest of playtime for me to determine that. I’m proud of how “decent” I’ve gotten since earlier today. I went from around 36% with a 56 note streak to these;

Paint It Black was so hard at first, but now I’m getting the swing of this thing. I’m actually whoopin’ Jo’s butt too, woohoo! My best songs are; Slow Ride, La Grange (I’m awesome at this), Talk Dirty To Me and Cult Of Personality.

By the way, I’m new to this game and have no idea if I’m actually any good.. I have no idea what those numbers really mean. LOL

I’m going to attempt One, by Metallica now.

Did any of you watch this past season of American Gladiators? I used to watch this years and years ago, back in the day and absolutely loved it. We watched this past season from start to finish, though I was sort of turned off by the size of some of the gladiators (both genders). I don’t know, maybe it’s just me but I’m not one for that much muscle. Now don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy a nicely toned and fit body but I think some of those gladiators were a bit extreme, especially for the guys. For me, there’s nothing attractive about bulky muscles. It doesn’t generally make me go “Wow, they (he/she) really takes could care of themselves…” but rather, “Wow, I wonder how many legal steroids/illegal steroids they had to take to reach that size..” Of course that’s not to say that people can’t achieve a sculpted body with the aide of them either, I just tend to think some people get too caught up in body image that they really lose themselves in the process.

Such horrible news. Absolutely horrible.

Actor Heath Ledger found dead.

Such a tragedy. He was a talented, gifted man. I feel awful for his 2 year old daughter.

If it is in fact drug related, it’s such a shame.

I love movie nights, don’t you? We usually watch movies with the family a couple of nights each week. The last movie night we had was this past Sunday, when we watched 30 Days of Night. I didn’t think I’d like this movie at all because I’m not really into the Vampire type movies, though Interview With a Vampire was definitely an exception. I have to say though, I only decided to watch 30 Days of Night because Josh Hartnett is in it but the movie turned out to be way better than I expected. I definitely recommend it, though you should know it’s a little on the gory side so children shouldn’t watch it.

I think tonight will be a movie night for us too. There’s not much else for us to do considering it’s still snowing and the roads are a mess. Recommend a movie to me?

Speaking of oldies.

It’s movie night (yeah, at 11pm) and I’m in the mood to watch some older movies. I was originally going to watch The Goonies (love it) or The Wizard of Oz (love it too) but I think I want to watch an older comedy. I think I’ll see if Jo’s mom has The Nutty Professor (the one with Eddie Murphy starring in it). That’s a movie that never gets old for me. The funny scenes crack me up just as much the last time as it did the first time. I think the funniest part is when they’re sitting around the table and someone brings up having their colon cleansed. Oh come on, you know you laughed at that part too. But seriously, I love it when the mom (which is also played by Eddie Murphy) starts clapping and saying “Hercules, Hercules”. My sister Nikki picks on me because I can do this scene so well (including the voice haha).

Yeah, I’m tired of action movies. I’m going to put in a request for a comedy tonight.

I admit it, I love dancing with the stars. Unfortunately this season is leaving a horrible taste in my mouth. I hate all of the attention that’s being given to Marie Osmond, or should I say favoritism? I just don’t understand how she’s made it this far in the competition and am wondering if the whole thing just isn’t rigged this time around. I have nothing against the woman and I do agree that for her age, it’s amazing that she’s doing some of those lifts but I can’t take her seriously. I’m no ballroom dancing expert but she’s really making a mess of it all. She simply is not good. Case in point - view the videos below (the second is her awkward freestyle).

My personal favorites are Julianne and Helio. I think it’s because I have a wee little crush on Helio - shhh!
