I have a verse of a song stuck in my head. It doesn’t matter what I do, what I’m watching or anything like that - I still bop my head mumbling the lyrics. The song is that 1234 song by Feist. “1, 2, 3 4, tell me that you love me more”. That’s the exact verse that keeps repeating in my head. Jo was poking fun at me earlier because, at the time, I didn’t even realize I was doing this (sort of like that popping thing I do with me mouth).

Does this ever happen to you? It happens to me a lot and usually with songs I don’t particularly like. I actually like this song, so I don’t really mind so much.

The last time this happened, this bad was with that Pringles commercial with that “where’s your head at” song. I’m sure this is going to be lodged in my head after posting this. lol

I must’ve been really tired last night! I laid down around 11pm and watched Dexter with Jo! Once it was over, I had planned on watching a little more TV before bed because I didn’t feel I was that tired! It was very strange that the moment Jo surrendered (haha) the remote control to me, I because so sleepy I couldn’t manage to flip the channels! I decided to just turn it off completely and try to get some sleep, you know, since my nap didn’t go so well yesterday! I turned the TV off, Jynx hopped up in the bed and laid beside me and that’s all I remember! I just woke up about 20 minutes ago, at 7:30! I usually get up a little later than that because I usually go to bed later (with the exception of the weekends because Jo goes to work so early)!

I feel so rested though! Looks like it might be another decent day out! I haven’t checked the temperatures yet, I’ll wait until Jo gets his sleepy butt up before I open the windows!

I’m hoping the photography domain will propagate by tomorrow! I am so excited about getting it up and running! I should really be working on the galleries though. Trying to figure out how I want to display the pictures and such. I can’t decide if I want to continue using lightbox or if I’m going to try something else! Hrmm.. Any suggestions?

Finally! For once I actually went to bed before 1 or 2am! I crawled into bed just after 10pm last night! I watched about an hour’s worth of TV before deciding the fight with keeping my eyelids open wasn’t worth it! I don’t even remember anything after turning the TV off! I must’ve fell right into a deep sleep the second I rolled back over! I slept really good too! Really, really good! I still had to get up at 5am though, since that’s when Jo has to be up for work but I feel so rested, unlike yesterday! I love that feeling!

Once again, I have to make another trip to the grocery store! Like I’ve said before, we always seem to forget one thing or another! Jo’s in the mood for chicken tonight, though I have no idea what I’m going to make just yet! I wanted to do my cream of chicken casserole but he says he doesn’t want anything with pasta in it. So, there that goes. haha! I may make some chicken wraps, that would be pretty good! He could take what’s left for his lunch work tomorrow too!

I wish you could see my cats. Jynx is laying on a blanket (which is on an unpacked plastic container beside my chair) and Bella is wedged between the wall and the TV stand! They look like they’re both in their own worlds! Bella’s got her paws stretched out towards the ceiling and Jynx is so stretched out, her front paws are dangling off the container! Awww!

I am so sleepy right now! I’ve been up since 5am (when the alarm sounded, sending the radio to an insane volume.. ugh)! I’ve cleaned house, showered, did a little web surfing, made Jo’s lunch and cooked dinner. I am tuckered out! It’s only 8:14pm right now but I already feel like I could drift straight to sleep the moment my head hits a pillow!

I have been working on a design for my photography portfolio! I cannot wait to get it up and running again, especially at the new domain! I’m changing the galleries up just a bit, or I should say that I’m considering changing the galleries up a bit! I haven’t actually started that part of the design yet but I’m sorting out different alternatives for faster load times and what have you! I really hope it turns out the way I’m picturing it in my head!

Time for dinner now though!

Edit; I have just purchased a new domain for my photography portfolio and will be “in the process” of moving my entire portfolio site to it in the next few days. Herbrokentoy.com will revert back to a blog, as it was awhile back.

We bought my new chair yesterday! Thank goodness! It’s an oversized office chair and oh so comfy! The only thing that’s annoying me about it is that we have hardwood floors and I keep rolling back. I hadn’t realized our floors in this apt were so off level! Every so often, I can feel myself rolling back! Hahaha!

Small price to pay though! It sure beats the other chair I was using!

Man, I am still so sleepy! I slept pretty good last night but it’s been really warm out! Our apt complex does not have air conditioning (oh how I miss central heat and air LOL) at all. We have a rotating floor fan (one of the new ones that look similar to speakers lol) but it just does not generate enough cool air. I woke up all stuffy and just icky because I’m hot! Pffth

How disappointing, Bush vetoes war-funding bill. Not that I expected any less! This bill called for a pullout of US combat troops in Iraq by 2008! What is extending our troops tour in Iraq solving? Apparently if they pulled out too soon, it’d cause chaos in Iraq.. I ask then, what is going on there now? Isn’t it pretty much a civil war now? Isn’t there chaos there now? At what expense are we fighting this war that doesn’t seem to have an end in the near future? Loss of life? Innocent lives? Fathers, brothers, husbands, sons, mothers, sisters wives, and daughters.

It’s time he stands up and faces the truth. He made a mistake (IMO), families have suffered great losses at the expense of this mistake. Being the President does not mean you can’t make a mistake but for Pete’s sake, own up to it and start working with Congress to get our men and women home!

It’s so depressing. I, myself, do not have an loved ones serving in Iraq but I have many friends who’s sisters and brothers are. While I am not “anti-military” at all, I do feel this war was a mistake.

Man! I didn’t get much sleep at all last night! I think I finally dozed off around 2:30am and after hours of tossing and turning, I finally woke up a little after 7am this morning! I have a feeling I’ll be grabbing a nap at some point today! Especially since it’s pretty cloudy out! If it rains, that would make for a great nap session!

I have so much to work on today! I really want to finish up the design for my photography site! I scrapped the rough draft I’d started awhile back and will start working on something completely different! Well, different in my own opinion that is! Haha!

For now, I think I’ll have some Froot Loops! I am such a cereal person! :]

I slept so well last night! So well in fact, that I didn’t wake up at all until 9am! I don’t even know that I changed positions at all because I woke up in almost the exact position I fell asleep in! I love it when I sleep the whole night through!! I feel so great this morning!!

Jo’s off for the next 4 days! I’m not sure if we’re going to do anything or not! Brian and Jill invited us over for a BBQ a few nights ago but we couldn’t make it! Jo told them we’d try to get together with them one night this week! Hopefully there will be no pubs involved, the last time there was, it was drama, drama, drama!! Jo’s gone up to the bank right now! Our rent will draft from our primary checking account tomorrow morning, so he’s going to transfer some money from another checking account at another bank, into that one! We’ll probably run to Wal-mart later on too! We’re almost out of water and for the last 3-4 weeks, they’ve had a case of 30 500ml bottles for about $4!! We’ve been stocking up on it but now we’re down to about 10 bottles! That won’t last us long at all, considering all we drink is water! Haha!

I need to finish up my “Monday’s Movie Madness” now though! tehe!

I believe there is some kind of plot against me!!! We have lived here, in this apartment, for well over a month now and not once has a bird gone poopie on my truck! When I went outside earlier, I counted at least 6 bird poopies on my truck!! Six!! In a matter of hours! They were not there this morning! I wonder if it’s the same bird that hops in front of our sliding glass door on the balcony, taunting my cats! Ohhh, I bet it is!!! lol

I’ve also come to the conclusion that I should probably change my first name! You’ll recall in this post, my nephew Trent called me a “Butt top”! (haha) When I spoke with him today, his first phrase to me was “Hey Butt Snip”! HAHA! So I’m wondering if I should just go on and have my first name changed.. I mean, since he’s referring to me as “Butt” something or other every time! lol

I think I’ve finished with the the theme mentioned in the previous post! There is an alternate background pattern and header in the zipped file.
