I’m in the middle of cooking dinner and uploading some pictures of the fudge I made last night (for my cooking and recipe blog). I figured while I have a few minutes in between that I’d go ahead and release the theme I wanted to release last week. I didn’t get much of a chance to finish it until yesterday, mostly due to being sick and under the weather.

This is a 2 column theme, which supports widgets, in bright colors that are perfect for Spring and Summer. I hope you enjoy it.

I must get back to cooking though. I’ll have to post the recipes later - we’re having fried rice and, steak and shrimp with white sauce. Stir fried veggies would be great too, I do that too.

Jo has pretty much “grown out” of his wedding band. He blames my mom’s cooking - good excuse! Anyway, I decided I would look into having it stretched but the Jeweler said that might not be the best thing because it’s so thin. We don’t have children (unless you consider our cats children, but the IRS won’t let us claim them.. so you know), I still figured I’d do something for him for Father’s Day. It’s really just an excuse to get him that wedding band he’s been wanting for over a year now.

Just Mens Rings has a nice collection of rings like Men’s Wedding Bands, some that are “Jo’s style.” I really like the Tungsten band with thin gold inlay. This is sort of the style we picked out before (not his previous band, I mean in our search for a new one). Jo was just browsing the site with me and his first pick, different from mine of course, is the Titanium band with the black resin insert. It looks really stylish, and like Jo said - “Who can resist that price for such a cool looking band.” I agree.

Just Mens Rings sells more than just wedding bands, like Spinner rings which are also known as Tibetan worry rings, or prayer rings. My oldest nephew is into those kinds of rings, so that would make for a nice birthday gift in the future. Again, they’re also affordable and stylish. I love that they use other materials and metals, other than the normal gold and silver. Some of the metals Just Men’s Rings are stainless steel, titanium and tungsten-carbide.

If you’re looking for stylish and rather unique Men’s Wedding Bands, well rings in general, Just Mens Rings is a good place to start.

I decided to release another 1 column theme after several people requested I do one using darker tones. This theme features dark gray tones and mauve. Header text can easily be removed, so feel free to add your own text to it if you want. Visit the WP Themes section to view a live demo or download.

I’m also hoping to release another theme before the end of the day, but if not, then enjoy this one until then. Just FYI, it’s a 2 column theme, though I may decide to release it in a 3 column theme as well. We’ll see.

Two themes in one week? Yep, you betcha. I’ve been steady working on this since before the last theme I released. For whatever reason I went onto work with the other theme and forgot about this one. No worries, it’s finished now and ready for download.

This is another 3 column theme and it features some really nice, Spring colors. Again, like the last theme, there are 2 headers; one already featuring text and the other without, so feel free to personalize it to your heart’s content.

Now that I’m finished with all of that, I’m going to go outside and enjoy this delightful day we’ve been given. I hope I remember the game comes on tonight. Man, I could use a Rolex Daytona right now.

At last, at last! I have finally finished my first 3 column Wordpress theme. It features an illustration created by me, which was inspired by a previous illustration which is featured in one of my available banners. This theme is definitely feminine and is great for Spring. It’s customizable though, so if girly isn’t your thing, or you don’t like the colors - feel free to change the colors and images to something that better suits your taste. I have included a profile image, which you can easily paste your own photo into.

You should also know that this theme has valid XHTML and CSS, and it’s widget ready. I hope you enjoy it to bits! You can download it here, screenshot below.

I’ve finally finished up my first 1 column theme, which is now available for download on my Wordpress themes download page. The theme is called “Elegance” and features light shades of gold and shades of plum. I included two headers, one which already has text and a second one that is blank - feel free to add your own text to it. I have also provided a small thumbnail sized profile image, which you can easily paste your own photo into. This theme also uses valid XHTML and CSS.

Also, an update to the “In the blue” theme; I have now uploaded an updated version - the sidebar is now widget ready (something I’m working on for all of my themes). I’ll be releasing my first three column theme in a few days, for those who’ve been asking for one!

If you downloaded “In the blue” before now, please not that I have uploaded an updated version of it. There were a few bugs that I have gone in and fixed and the theme is now XHTML and CSS valid. My apologies for not making sure these things were fixed prior to releasing the theme.

Also, while on the topic of themes, I’m working on a new theme which I hope to release in the next couple of days. It’s a 1 column theme, but for those of you looking for a 3 column theme.. it’s coming, I promise.

First off; several have asked for a 3 column Wordpress theme. Your wish is my command, but it’s going to be a few days before I release it. I’m also going to work on making the themes widget-friendly, which will take a little time.

Secondly; I’ll be announcing a new contest sometime tomorrow. I figured since the most recent contest went so well, featuring Lori’s jewelry, I’d do a second contest featuring another piece. She had originally planned on letting me select a piece for myself and as much as I love her jewelry and would love a piece, I love you guys too. I rarely wear jewelry enough to buy it on a regular basis and I figured someone else would get better use out of it! I am having Lori create a customized piece for my mother for mother’s day though and I can’t wait to see it!

Thirdly; It is snowing so hard out right now, that it looks more like rain than snow. I had gotten so excited earlier this week, to see the snow we had from a couple of weeks back finally start to melt. I really should have known better than to think that would last very long. This is what it looks like out of the dinning room window.

Fourthly; I stayed up late last night so that I could watch the Calgary Flames (my favorite sports/hockey team in the whole wide world.. lol). We are only able to watch hockey on Saturday’s because of the programming here, which stinks - I miss watching nearly every game like we were able to do in Calgary. I was sad to see my team lose but I guess you win some, you lose some right?

Fifthly; Are you ready for some football? Who’s watching the Super Bowl tonight? This is actually the first year, in 6 years, that Jo’s been “off” and able to see it. He’s pretty excited about it. We’re having a small Super Bowl party, or I should say they are. Football isn’t my thing, I only watch it for the commercials (haha). To those who will watch it: Who are you rootin’ for? Jo’s hoping the Patriots will win and close out with a perfect season. I couldn’t care less about who wins to be honest. There’s only one football team that I can actually tolerate watching and that’s the Georgia Southern Eagles which is a college team (Go big blue).

I have released a new theme - Striped Flowers.

It features browns, greens and seafoam blue, along with pretty flowers and stripes. In the theme folder you will notice 3 headers; one which already has text on it, one identical to that which has no text and another which has no text, no flowers. You will also notice 2 footers; one with text and one without and 2 sidebar images; one with text and one without. These were provided do that customizing the theme even further, to add your own personal touch by adding your own unique text or fonts can be achieved easily.
